Santa is coming ...

Weihnachten kommt bald. Ihr denkt, ich bin verrückt? Weit gefehlt, ich habe ein Gespür für Weihnachten. Und ich schwöre: Es kommt bald. Und es wird großartig. Und familiär. Und verrückt. Und stressig. Und wohlschmeckend. Und fashionable.

Christmas is coming soon. You think I’m crazy? Far from it, I have a feeling for Christmas. And I swear: It’s coming soon. And it’s going to be great. And familial. And crazy. And stressful. And well-tasting. And fashionable.

Voller Stolz darf ich nämlich verkünden, dass ich an der Aktion „Fashion Bloggers Secret Santa 2010“ teilnehme. Es geht bei der Aktion darum, dass die Autoren zweier Fashion-Blogs einander Geschenke machen. Man weiß zwar, für wen man ein Bis-zu-€-15-Geschenk kaufen soll, aber man weiß nicht, von wem man beschenkt wird.

I proudly announce that I participating at “Fashion Bloggers Secret Santa 2010”. The action is about having the authors of two fashion blogs giving each other presents. You know for whom to buy the around-€-15-present, but you don’t know who’s going to buy you a present.

Ich freue mich schon sehr. Nicht nur, weil ich beschenkt werde, sondern auch darauf, dass perfekte Geschenk auszusuchen. Ich sehe mich jetzt schon durch die verschneiten, weihnachtlich dekorierten Straßen Oslos spazieren, auf der Jagd nach dem Geschenk der Geschenke (ich verdränge jetzt geschickt, dass es voraussichtlich vor Weihnachten nicht in Oslo schneien wird).

I am really looking forward to it. Not only to get a present, but also to choose the perfect present. I see myself wandering around in the snowy, Christmas-decorated streets of Oslo on the hunt for the present of the presents (I repress now very cleverly the fact that it is probably not snowing in Oslo before Christmas).

Und falls mein Secret Santa das hier gerade liest: Ich habe am 24. Dezember Geburtstag. Das Geschenk sollte also echt der Hammer sein ;)

In case my secret Santa is reading this right now: My birthday is on December 24. The present should really rock ;)
